Our chosen hotels have been specially selected to allow you a week's rest and relaxation at some of our favourite corners of the Greek mainland and its islands. Enjoy a week at one of these hotels or combine a 7-night holiday stay with one of our walking or discovery journeys.

You can choose between charming and well-appointed family-run hotels that are simple and hospitable and larger, more stylish ‘boutique’ hotels with all the facilities you would ever want. Some are purpose-built elegant modern designs while others are sensitively renovated and refurbished historic houses of style and great character. Whatever your preference, all retain that special Greek atmosphere and ambience thanks to tasteful décor and traditional furnishings, while providing a comfortable base from which to explore.

All prices (which are for two or three-night stays) assume you are adding the hotel to another Inntravel holiday and include no travel element. However, we will be happy to provide a quotation for car hire. Please read our notes on prices.

Athens

With revelations of ancient history around every corner, Athens is the most culturally rich city in Europe. You will find it hugely rewarding to wander round Plaka, a vibrant quarter full of architectural interest and narrow streets, with the backdrop of the imposing Akropolis to orientate and inspire you. You can also visit the world famous National Archaeological Museum, and spend time slowly strolling around and relaxing at cafes so as to soak up the unique atmosphere. Wherever you go, you will notice the city's vibrant sense of rejuvenation following the success of the Olympic Games in 2004. You can stay at the Hotel Phillipos or the Hotel Herodion, both centrally located.
