Personal Holiday Insurance

Inntravel are an Appointed Representative of Fogg Travel Insurance Services Limited (Fogg Travel). This policy is underwritten by Tokio Marine Europe Insurance Limited (TMEI) and Union Reiseversicherung AG (URV). Fogg Travel, TMEI and URV are authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority (FSA) and are as such covered by the Financial Ombudsman Service. We are able to offer you travel insurance cover especially tailored for our holidays.

Benefits include:
• 24-hour medical emergency service
• cover if you have to cancel before departure
• cover if you are unable to walk or cycle for all or part of your walking or cycling holiday due to injury or illness
• cover for loss or damage of personal baggage
• cover for loss or theft of money
• cover for travel delay, including the cost of getting you on another plane, ferry or train if you miss any of your travel connections because of a delay to pre-booked public transport, or a road traffic accident or vehicle breakdown delaying the vehicle in which you are travelling
• cover available for persons aged up to 84 years (a premium rate applies to persons aged 65 years and over).

Winter sports cover includes:
• the renowned Fogg Travel MEDI-CARD recognized throughout the skiing world and enabling you to ski with the knowledge that all your rescue, travel and medical bills will be automatically taken care of (you pay the policy excess)
• cover if you are unable to use your pre-paid ski pass, ski hire or ski hire school fees due to injury/illness
• cover for loss or damage of personal baggage or ski equipment (including hired equipment)
• cover for loss or theft of money, including lift pass

Travelling more than 2 or 3 times a year? Our great-value, annual multi-trip insurance offers the following advantages:

• cover for unlimited number of trips of up to 31 days per single trip
• family members (2 adults plus dependent children under 18) can travel separately
• up to 17 days winter sports cover (actual skiing days)
• business travel is included (excluding manual work)
• UK trips of at least 2 nights and 50 miles from home (in pre-booked accommodation) are included
• cover available for persons aged up to 64 years

We consider adequate travel insurance to be essential. If you decide not to purchase our insurance, you must provide us with details of your alternative policy (insurer, policy number and medical emergency telephone number). If you do not inform us of your alternative arrangements, we will automatically add our insurance premium to your invoice. We cannot be held liable for any costs which arise that would otherwise have been met had you taken our insurance.

As with most insurance policies, you are only insured for an event which occurs after you have purchased the cover. Please therefore carefully read the paragraph headed Pre-existing Health Conditions below. As you would expect from Inntravel, in the unlikely event that this cover is not suitable for you, you may return it to us for a full refund, provided you return it within 14 days of receipt and you have not travelled or have made a claim.

Pre-Existing Medical Conditions

If you, or anyone who is travelling, has ever had treatment for any heart or circulatory condition, a stroke or high blood pressure, any breathing condition (including asthma), any type of cancer, any type of diabetes, any existing injury or other serious or re-occurring medical condition, any condition requiring long term prescribed medication or if you are receiving or awaiting investigation for any medical condition you must advise the Referral Helpline as per the policy terms to see if additional cover is available. The cancellation and emergency medical cover may be reviewed if your health changes between booking and travel. Insurers reserve the right to impose terms. You will receive confirmation in writing of their decision. In most cases, cover is provided at no extra cost. If special terms are necessary, these will be explained to you and confirmed in writing.

Premiums are per person, inclusive of Insurance Premium Tax @ 17.5%.

TRAVELLING BY CAR?

Breakdowns can ruin a holiday so it is sensible to purchase vehicle assistance cover. Inntravel are able to offer you European Breakdown Insurance cover, including travel by car to a winter sports destination. The Insurers of the European Motor Breakdown policy is Union Reiseversicherung AG (URV). Please call us for details of the policy and premiums (inclusive of 5% IPT) for your holiday.
